Hey everyone and welcome back to Racing Hearts❤️🏎️🏁
This week on Track Talks I will be discussing a track that is a Formula One drivers dream; with high-speed twists, technical corners and an exhilarating maximum speed of 317.8km/h. It is, of course, the one and only; Suzuka circuit.

In 1962, the legendary Soichiro Honda had a vision to transform his car company into an automotive powerhouse. To achieve this, he commissioned Dutchman John Hugenholtz to design a test track for Honda. The result was the iconic Suzuka track, originally planned to pass over and under itself three times! Although it took a while for Suzuka to join the F1 calendar, it quickly became a favorite among drivers after it debuted in 1987. Nigel Mansell’s unfortunate crash in qualifying that weekend gifted the championship to his rival Nelson Piquet. With its thrilling ‘S’ Curves, challenging Degners, and heart-pounding 130R, Suzuka remains one of the most exhilarating tracks in F1 history.
